SeaForMiles, with a build completion date of late 2011, is a premier residence of outstanding excellence.

The villa is located on the island of St Kitts, West Indies, majestically situated on a bluff overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

As you enter through the 8ft timber double doors into the large Entrance Foyer (235 ft2), the breathtaking views of the 80ft long infinity pool and Caribbean ocean vistas will delight you. The 8ft high concertina glass Nanawalls allows you an uninterrupted view of the sea.

On your left in the Entrance Foyer is a feature wall of locally handcrafted and laid volcanic stones which is complemented by the rich timber hand-laid floors used throughout the residence.

The interior design is based on an open plan which allows you to move with ease from one area to another.

From the Entrance Foyer, the Dining Room lies ahead of you with a custom designed square concrete and timber inlaid table with comfortable leather seating for sixteen. Design by Barefoot Design.

The Kitchen is to the left of the dining room with a well-appointed Italian Scavolini kitchen made of timber, glass and red 2-pac lacquered cabinetry, with a large central island that seats six.

To the right of the dining area is the Lounge Area with Roche Bobois contemporary sectional seating in white leather.

Just to the right of the Foyer is an area designated for television viewing and relaxation. It features comfortable, low profile modular seating, also by Roche Bobois with hand stitched Missoni fabrics. The 60” Samsung flat-screen LED television is but one of several throughout the villa.

The abovementioned areas open onto an expansive covered Outdoor Verandah with dining for fourteen and lounge areas ideal for relaxing and entertaining. It features a travertine deck, in front of which sits the infinity edge pool; from the verandah one has uninterrupted 180 degree views of the leeward side of the island from the south-east peninsula and sister island of Nevis around to the capital city, Basseterre. This side is frequented by sailing boats and super yachts, and provides timeless dynamic oceanic artistry and splendid sunsets.
The infinity pool has a depth of 5ft at its shallow end and 9ft at the deep end, and is heated for those who might prefer their own preset water temperature. The deep end has two feature pool windows that look into the Family Room and Wine Bar of the lower level. These windows make for a dramatic and fun conversational and observational feature in these rooms.
The sunken outdoor lounge area/conversation pit with central fire table is a lovely place to relax and enjoy cocktails whilst watching the Caribbean sunset and night skies.

From the Living area, you continue along to the Parents’ Retreat, a quiet area for reading or desk work. The double doors here open onto an outdoor garden retreat. This area is just off the Master Bedroom.



On entering the expansive Master Bedroom (402 ft2) with high vaulted timber ceiling, the focal point is an exquisite artist rendered custom glass panel (12ft W 9ft H) that acts as the backdrop for the contemporary Roche Bobois king-sized leather bed and which also separates the vanity, powder and bathroom areas.

The open plan features a very large shower complete with body jets and overhead rain fixture. The shower, finished with Italian mosaic tiles, the double Jacuzzi tub with marble surround and the vanity area all look out to expansive ocean and landscape views.

The Master bedroom boasts an en-suite Sauna along with a well-appointed, custom-made Master Walk-in Closet(280 ft2), designed with a secret storage area which can be locked off from the rest of the closet area.

The 14ft wide concertina Nanawall glass doors open to the outdoor verandah, again with yet more breathtaking views; further evidence this villa has been thoughtfully designed.

Returning to the Entrance Foyer but this time venturing to your left, you pass the upstairs Powder-Room (one of three in the villa), with a unique Clark Sorensen sculptured urinal masterpiece
and Toto fully-automated toilet. These are consistent features throughout the villa.

Further along on your left is the Butler’s Pantry, with Scavolini-appointed cabinetry complementing the kitchen and a commercial-sized double door refrigerator/freezer.

You are now entering the amply-sized Games Room at 980 ft2 (91m2) with tournament-sized snooker (12ft x 6ft) and table tennis tables, air hockey and pinball. The Bang & Olufsen sound system and a 65” Samsung LED television monitor are perfect for watching your favorite games or simply pumping up the volume on a games night. The Bang & Olufsen system here comprises the classic 6-stack CD BeoSound 9000, the BeoSound 5, BeoLab 5 speakers and wall mounted BeoLab 3s as well. Bang & Olufsen systems are outstanding artistic pieces in themselves.

This room provides a spectacular vista of the south-eastern end of the island, including views to the new marina currently underway and St Kitts’ sister island Nevis, in the background. The Nanawall glass door here opens up this room and enables direct access to the outdoor Jacuzzi.

The three car Garage (788 ft2) is accessed from the Games Room which currently houses a Toyota Prado Land Cruiser, Can-Am ATV, Harley-Davidson Fat Boy, Sea-Doo Musclecraft 150 speed boat with trailer and wake board tower, along with four ocean kayaks with a designated trailer. The flooring is a textured epoxy sealant.

Within the Garage is a large storage room complete with tools and equipment for general home maintenance and repairs, and above the garage is a large mezzanine accessed by a pull down ladder from the ceiling for additional storage.

The Wet Room is also off the Garage, ideal for washing off after a day of fun in the sun.

Two curved timber staircases take you to the lower level, each one featuring uniquely designed chandeliers of driftwood, woven straw and copper. The southern staircase brings you down to the well-appointed Bedrooms 1 and 2, each with en-suite bathrooms that open onto verandahs with more ocean views.

A downstairs powder-room and the main head-end control room for the home automation are off the corridor in this area.

The corridor leads into the Wine Bar/Library (466 ft2) which is elegantly furnished with English Chesterfield lounges in leather, and the custom-designed bar houses two large champagne wine chillers, separate drinks cooler drawers, ice machine, microwave and dish washer.

There is a wall-to-wall bookcase by Grange which is filled with 2011 ‘best sellers’ of all genres, and is accessorized with unique objects of art.

Another wall features three authentic James Bond movie posters with brass accent lighting, with the antique reproduction furniture and vintage popcorn cart giving the room “old world’ style and charm; the perfect setting for pre-movie drinks, board games or relaxed conversations.

One of the pool windows is a feature in this room, giving occupants a taste of what awaits them outside on a hot, sunny Caribbean day. At night the pool lights add cozy ambience to this room.

The Home Theater (466 ft2) located adjacent to the Wine Bar seats nine, and was designed to THX standards with 3D capability (as are all the LED screens in the house). The chairs are superior quality: custom-made Home Theaterseating by Elite, each with its own drinks holder and storage for controls in the armrests.

The Home Theater may be accessed from either the Wine Bar or from the opposite side from the Family Room, both through double doors of soundproofing.

The Family Room (392 ft2) features a 60” LED screen with surround-sound, and is a fun room with relaxed modular leather seating and bean bags where the young ones may indulge in their favorite activities, such as playing Xbox Kinnect, Playstation, Wii or reading. There is also an activity area with table and chairs for younger children to do craft, paint or draw, along with a computer desk area. The other and larger pool-viewing window is featured in this room, with the early morning sun peeking through the glass in glistening strips of light.

From here you access the large Study (392 ft2), positioned to take advantage of the magnificent view down the south-east peninsula. The room is well appointed with traditional style furnishings, an executive desk, leather chairs including an English Chesterfield, wall-to-wall bookcase with another Samsung LED TV, nautical reproductions and artifacts. The warm timber floor is from old reclaimed barn wood, giving this room a real classic gentleman’s feel.

On leaving the study and just off from the Family Room is one of two accesses to the Gym, which is well equipped with commercial-grade Life Fitness treadmill, step-climber, elliptical cross-trainer, upright exercise bike (all with LCD monitors), a Smith weight system with Olympic-style weights, a wide range of free weights/dumbbells and aerobic equipment. This room also features a 55” Samsung LED television monitor and Bang & Olufsen sound system. All audio locations also have iPod docks  for those who also enjoy their own music. The built-in cabinetry houses an under-counter refrigerator and towel storage.

The well-equipped Laundry Room is neatly tucked away at one end of the corridor just behind the Family Room; this corridor features a beautiful handcrafted textured wall of local stone and takes you to Bedrooms 3 & 4. On either side of the corridor are wall-to-wall linen/storage closets.

Bedrooms 3 and 4 are well appointed: Bedroom 3 with a king-sized bed and Bedroom 4 with twin queen singles, both with ocean views; they share an outdoor verandah with chaise lounges, dining table and chairs.

The outdoor garden area features a Children’s Play Area with swing and climbing fort with protective safety ground matting.

Back inside and at the end of the corridor just outside of the bedrooms is a sizeable twin-bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and glass-enclosed shower.

SeaForMiles is fully appointed throughout, with high-level automated Crestron and Kaleidescape systems, allowing full control of lighting, security, hurricane shutters, central air-conditioning, fans, whole-house audio, audiovisual and intercom systems, all of which  can  be operated by the numerous Crestron panels (also detachable and wireless for portability) throughout the villa or by way of an iPad.

There is a self-contained Staff Quarters, accessed by separate stairs adjacent to the garage, which contains a queen-sized bed, kitchenette by Scavolini and a bathroom with shower. It is fully air-conditioned and has access to the Kaleidescape system. It looks out to a spectacular ocean view from its own verandah.

This entire villa and staff quarters are well monitored with four security partitions: main house, secure lock-up area (within the master walk-in closet), staff quarters, and whole house flood detectors.

Exquisite timber flooring is present throughout, with marble flooring being preferred for the wet areas.

SeaForMiles consists of 5 Bedrooms, 4 Bathrooms, 3 Powder-rooms and a self-contained Staff Quarters with en-suite bathroom. Each bedroom has its individual en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi tubs, ceiling fans and well-appointed vanities, with the exception of Bedrooms 3 and 4 which share a large but separate double-bathroom.

Sanitary ware (toilets) is by TOTO and is fully automated in all locations.

The villa is air-conditioned throughout, with the utilities being controlled by an external utilities room and pool-pump room. All of these controls are well labeled.

The villa has access to a cistern and a back-up generator should there ever be an interruption to these utilities.
